The Inman Park Festival in Atlanta, takes place in one of the city’s oldest and most striking neighborhoods and is considered one of the area’s most colorful celebrations. Inman Park Festival highlights include a well-known street market featuring local art, the Inman Park Tour of Homes showcasing the stunning Victorian homes of the late 1800s, a 5k run where participants are encouraged to come in costume and the famed Inman Park Festival parade of eclectic fun. The event includes children’s activities, live music and dance featuring some the finest ballet and modern dance companies Atlanta has to offer.

Atlanta’s Inman Park neighborhood is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. First developed in the 1880s, Inman Park is home to such Atlanta landmarks as The Carter Center, the Inman Park Methodist Church and the Callan Castle, built by Coca-Cola Company founder Asa Candler.

Residents began the Inman Park Festival in Atlanta in the 1970s as a way to highlight the neighborhood and promote restoration. Inman Park now has more than 300 homes in various stages of restoration, and thousands flock to the area each year to celebrate its beauty – and the Inman Park Festival.

Inman Park Festival schedule

Tour of Homes: Friday, Saturday, & Sunday (12 – 4 pm)

Festival: Saturday (11 am – 9 pm) and Sunday (11 am – 6 pm)  

Parade: Saturday at 2 pm.

How much are tickets to the Inman Park Festival? 

Admission to all Inman Park Festival events, except for the Home Tour, are free. 

Home Tour Tickets are $35.00 in advanced and $40.00 starting the Friday of the Festival.

The Inman Park Festival takes place in Atlanta’s historic Inman Park neighborhood, located approximately two miles east of Downtown Atlanta.
