This event celebrates The American Music Show (1981-2005), a groundbreaking queer public access TV program that was produced in Atlanta. During its 24 years on the air, this variety show recorded one of the most thorough archives of queer Atlanta history.

The evening will include a screening of the show-drawn from Emory's recently acquired collection of over 700 VHS recordings-as well as a Q&A and discussion with some of the show's original cast members and a reception.
