SYNOPSIS!
'Paris is Burning' follows a group of African American and Latinx New Yorkers navigating the city's underground Ball Culture, racism, poverty, and the AIDS crisis. Featuring legends of the scene, Willi Ninja, Pepper LaBeija, Octavia St. Laurent, and Venus Xtravaganza, the slang and signals of the ballroom culture have inspired generations of young queers, drag performers, and TV shows like 'RuPaul's Drag Race' and 'POSE'.
