Concert- Voices Found- Mental Health Crisis

Date:
Through 12/8/2019

This concert, by a brand new social justice choir, Voices Found, will focus on the current mental health crisis. It will feature music solely from composers who suffered from mental illness, from Rachmaninoff to Gesualdo, and from Nina Simone to Kurt Cobain. A portion of ticket sales will benefit organizations supporting mental health awareness. Voices Found aims to give voice to the voiceless; to raise awareness and to start conversations about topics that marginalize people in society. December 7, 7p at Decatur Presbyterian Church, 205 Sycamore St., Decatur. December 8, 4p at Holy Trinity Parish, 515 E. Ponce de Leon Ave, Decatur.
