Home to the Atlanta Hawks and concert venue for touring musical artists, Philips Arena is just one of the city’s fun entertainment centers. Known as one of the most photographed buildings in Atlanta for reasons that don’t need to be "spelled out," the arena is conveniently located near CNN Center and common Atlanta filming locations for films and TV shows such as "Marvel’s The Avengers" and AMC’s "The Walking Dead."

Located on the side of STATS Restaurant at the corner of Baker and Marietta streets NW, you’ll see one of Buckhead Murals’ many creations. For an ideal image, you can either take a picture on ground level or from one of the higher floors in the public parking garage across the street.

Granted, any image that features the SkyView Atlanta Ferris wheel and Atlanta’s skyline is bound to turn out beautiful. Here you can see one of HENSE’s (local mural artist) pieces covering the full side of a building. To shoot an image from the same angle, access the top level of the Centennial Tower Parking garage located at 107 Walton St. NW.

An Atlanta landmark, the circular Coca-Cola neon sign shines above the Olympia building at 22 Peachtree St., located adjacent to Woodruff Park. Coke’s historic ad was originally placed in Margaret Mitchell Square in 1932 where it remained for nearly half a century. In May 2003, hundreds of people lined the street to witness the historic sign’s return and watch it light up the Five Points district.
