Where to Get Photos With Santa in Atlanta

All kids deserve to plead their case before Santa Claus, and luckily Atlanta’s hotels and restaurants offer plenty of opportunities to meet up with the Big Guy, get a picture and assure him that they’ve really been nice. Many of these photo ops require either a reservation or have limited booking availability, so call ahead to be sure there won’t be any disappointments. Also, check venues for pricing information.

Here are some jolly places for pictures with Santa Claus.

  • Lenox Square
    Find Santa at the Macy's Court through Dec. 24. Skip the line by making an appointment at simonsanta.com and don’t miss these special Santa events:

    • Pet Photo Night – Dec. 10 from 10:30 p.m. to midnight. 
      Sit. Stay. Pose.

    • Caring Santa – Dec. 3 from 8:30 to 10 a.m.
      The private event is designed for children and young adults with special needs and their families to have an opportunity to have their photos taken with Santa. Lenox Square has made necessary adjustments to the environment to support the sensory, physical and other developmental needs of children of all abilities for this special event.

  • Mall of Georgia 
    Stop by the Von Maur Court for a photo with Santa through Dec. 24. Guests are invited to bring their four-legged friends to visit with Santa and have a paw-trait taken from 8 to 10 p.m. on Dec. 10. Save time and make a reservation by visiting simonsanta.com

  • North Georgia Premium Outlets
    Stop by the Food Court through Dec. 24. Guests are invited to bring their four-legged friends to visit with Santa and have a paw-trait taken on Dec 10. On Dec. 3 Caring Santa will be visiting for kids with special needs. Make an appointment to save on waiting time: simonsanta.com

  • Zoo Atlanta
    Meet up with Santa for cookies and smiles when he stops at Zoo Atlanta on Dec. 2 and 3 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Kids will have the opportunity to make crafts, have animal encounters, entertainment and refreshments in addition to a personal visit with Santa and a professional photo. Reservations encouraged.

  • Breakfast with Santa by LEGOLAND Discovery Center at Callanwolde
    The event ticket also includes a general admission ticket to tour the decorated estate, as well as picture-perfect moments with Santa where children can share their secret wish lists. Santa will also make a special visit to deliver a gift from LEGOLAND Discovery Center. Dec. 2 through 9.

  • Red Clay Music Foundry
    Enjoy cookies and cocoa with Santa during his brief visit to Red Clay Music Foundry on Dec. 16 from 10 a.m. to noon. Arrive early to participate in crafts and get a free professional photo with Santa Claus.

  • Georgia Aquarium
    Make a splash by enjoying breakfast with Santa amid the whale sharks and manta rays. Enjoy a delicious breakfast and holiday crafts, write Santa a letter and deliver it to him in person as you visit. Bring your camera to capture the special moment. Dec 16 from 9 to 11 a.m.

  • Atlanta Botanical Garden
    Botanical-inspired Santa will be at the ABG from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays, Nov. 25 through Dec. 2, 9 and 16. Families are welcome to bring cameras to take their own holiday pictures with Santa, adorned in his special green robe and holiday head wreath.

  • Ponce City Market
    Santa Claus is coming to the south lawn at Ponce City Market for selfies and photos along with a rotating venue of entertainment and festive treats. Santa’s hours will be 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Nov. 24 through 26, Dec. 17, Dec. 21 through 24 and 3 to 9 p.m. on Dec. 2 and 3, Dec. 9 and 10 and Dec. 16.

  • Mandarin Oriental
    Dec. 3 from 1 to 5 p.m. For $75, families will enjoy having pictures taken with Santa along with hot cocoa and festive treats.  Price includes photos, refreshments and valet parking.

  • St. Regis Atlanta
    The St. Regis Atlanta Hotel has a variety of activities including Afternoon Tea with Santa. Tea with Santa gives little ones the opportunity to enjoy a magical tea complete with a special visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus and photos. Nov. 24 - 26, Dec. 1 - 3, 8-10 and 14-24, with the first seating from 2 to 4 p.m. and second seating from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.

  • North Point Mall
    Visit Santa’s Toy Factory, a colorful and fun interactive experience presented by Mattel, that culminates with meeting Santa for photos. Now through Dec 24. Make a reservation to streamline your visit.
