What's open in Atlanta? Atlanta Attractions Reopening with New Hours and Safety Practices

Atlanta's attractions may look a little bit different the next time you visit. With guests' health top of mind, these establishments are reopening to the public.

Some Atlanta attractions are reopening their doors after closing for an extended time due to COVID-19. We are keeping a regularly updated list of what establishments are reopening and how their hours and services have adapted to keep customers and employees safe and healthy. 

Don't forget that dine-in service is also returning to some Atlanta restaurants.

  • Andretti Indoor Karting and Games: Guests will be requires to wear a face covering that covers their mouth and nose at all times while visiting the facilitiy, does not apply to children under the age of 5 or those with a medical condition. Masks will be provided to guests that need one. Touchless hand sanitizer stations available throughout the facility.  

  • Atlanta Botanical Garden: Masks are required for all guests over 10.  

  • Atlanta Contemporary: Guests over the age of 2 are required to wear a face mask. Admission is free, but must pre-register for ticket for timed ticketing. All guests must use hand sanitizer before entry.  

  • Atlanta Food Walks: Virtual food tours and Field trips available.

  • Atlanta History Center: Adults and children over the age of 2 must wear face masks while inside buildings. Medical exceptions are allowed with a note from a doctor. New operating hours are 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. daily, Tuesday-Sunday

  • ATL-Cruzers Electric Car & Segway Tours: Masks are required for tour. Car tours will be open air, doors have been removed. Cars are disinfected every hour. 

  • Bold Monk Brewing Co.: Please arrive as a complete party. No party greater than 6. Please wear masks until seated. Maintain 6 feet of distance as your party arrives. 

  • Center For Puppetry Arts: Pre- purchased tickets required. Masks are required for guests during the duration of your visit. Hand sanitizing stations are available in abundance.
  • Chattahoochee Nature Center: Admission tickets must be purchased in advance, which include a date and time to visit. No cash will be accepted. Masks are required indoors and in enclosures.

  • Chick-fil-A College Football Hall of Fame: Open Friday- Monday.  

  • Children's Museum of Atlanta: Guests over the age of 5 are required to wear a mask. Tickets must be purchased in advance online. Hand sanitizing stations available around the museum. 

  • Fernbank Museum: Tickets must be purchased online in advance. Timed ticekts are available from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Cashless payments only. Requiring physical distancing and use of face coverings. 

  • Georgia Aquarium: Tickets are available online only and must be purchased in advance. Reserved time slots must be observed for entry. Entry temperature scans are required. Masks are required for guests 3 years and up.

  • LEGOLAND Discovery Center: All guests 2 and older are required to wear a mask. Reserve your admission online before it sells out. LEGO bricks will be available just for your family to use. 

  • Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament: Guests must wear a mask to enter. Contactless temperature screening will take place before entering. There will be 6ft between parties. Markers are placed throughout the castle to encourage social distancing.

  • Monday Night Garage: Right now, only our patio, deck, and courtyard is open to the public. The indoor areas (except restrooms) remain closed. Masks must be worn while ordering at the bar, standing, moving, etc. Masks may only be removed while seated at your table. Masks are available for $1 for your convenience. Only cohabitating parties of 6 or less permitted.

  • New Realm Brewery Company: Outdoor seating only on the dock, in the beer garden, and on the rooftop. Open daily from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. Takeout available. Dining room closed. 

  • Porsche Experience Center: Masks are required and can be supplied to you if needed. Cars are thouroughly sanitized before and after every experience following a detailed pre-handover checklist. The driving program has been modified to accommodate social distancing.

  • Six Flags Over Georgia: All guests must be healthy for at least 14 days prior to visit. All guests over the age of 2 will be required to wear face masks covering the nose and mouth. Mask Break Zones are available. Temperatures will be checked upon arrival. Hand sanitizer stations available throughout park.

  • SkyView Atlanta: Hand washing stations have been installed for customer use. No cash will be accepted. Gondolas will be disinfected between rides. Social distancing in place for queue.  

  • Stone Mountain Park: Park attractions, natural areas, resort and campground are now open. Capacities are limited, reservations are recommended. Face masks or coverings are required for guests over the age of 3 with some exceptions. Physical social distancing measures are in place

  • Sweetwater Brewery: Performing a thorough cleaning and sanitization of the entire taproom. Avoiding all cash payments and ensuring pens are sanitized after every use. Tours unavailable. 

  • Tabernacle: Reduced capacity and socially distanced floor plans. 

  • The Painted Duck: Temperature will be taken upon arrival. All guests will be required to wear a face covering in all common areas at all times. They will not be required for guests seated at a bowling lane, table, or other seated areas around the venue. Hand sanitizer dispensers will be available throughout common areas.

  • The Painted Pin: Temperature will be taken upon arrival. All guests will be required to wear a face covering in all common areas at all times. They will not be required for guests seated at a bowling lane, table, or other seated areas around the venue. Hand sanitizer dispensers will be available throughout common areas.

  • The Roof at Ponce City Market: Cashless payment required. Elevator marked for social distancing. Masks are required for entrance.

  • The Varsity: Cashless at all locations. Social distancing in place in lobby and seating areas.

  • Wild Heaven Beer: Changes to operations Patio Open, beer and food to-go available.  

  • World of Coca-Cola: Timed tickets purchased in advance online. Thermal temperature scans conducted for guests. Face coverings required for all guests over the age of 2.  

  • Zoo Atlanta: Timed ticketing in place, all tickets must be purschased online in advance and all transactions will be paperless. Guests 10 years and older are required to wear a mask. You'll find hand sanitizing stations throughout the Zoo for your convenience.
