Mothers have it easy. Wait, let us rephrase that. Those who want to spoil mom on Mother’s Day have it easy. There are flowers, jewelry, spa days, perfume, chocolate, brunches — all sorts of ways to say thank you. Dads are a bit harder. But, don’t worry. Atlanta offers plenty of ways to tell Dad that you appreciate him. Here are some of our favorite Father’s Day gifts.

  • North Georgia Canopy Tours will give Dad a thrill with any of its tour experiences: a  three-hour adventure tour, two-hour Sky Bridge Tour or the 2 1/2-hour Premium Adventure tour. Enjoy 12 zip lines, two sky bridges and a rappel. All tours end with a 695-foot dual racing zip over Hilltop Pond.

  • Family, food and baseball sound like a perfect Father’s Day so round up some family and friends and take Dad to the SunTrust Park, the brand new home of the Atlanta Braves. Not only can you enjoy the Braves game, but you may go early or stay late and relax with a beverage or meal at The Battery, which is right next door.

  • Turn Father Day’s into a memorable one by giving him a scenic tour with Biplane Rides Over Atlanta. Dad will have unique views of Atlanta, Stone Mountain, Lake Lanier and more. Biplane Rides Over Atlanta offers individual and group airplane rides in a two-passenger biplane and four-passenger Cessna Skylane as well as romantic sunset tours. Turn Dad into a pilot and let him take the controls of a fighter plane similar to those used in the 1940s.

  • What Dad wouldn’t love a visit to theCollege Football Hall of Fame and Chick-fil-A Fan Experience? The hall features 30,000 square feet of exhibit space as well as a 42-yard indoor football field.

  • Atlanta is the North American headquarters of Porsche and the Porsche Experience Center, which will make Dad forget about the minivan and turn him into a racer. With a fleet of more than 75 new model vehicles, Porsche drive coaches will help Dad navigate through a 1.6-mile circuit that just may be the world’s greatest test drive. In addition there is a state-of-the-art Simulator Lab where participates can virtually race iconic Porsche vehicles on some of the most famed tracks in the world.

  • For Dads who truly love racing, try the Richard Petty Driving  Experience where you can offer Dad customized ride-alongs and driving programs at Atlanta Motor Speedway. All you need to tell Dad is that he can go between 8 and 50 laps at the speedway in a car with 600 horsepower under the hood.

  • Southern Beer Tour is perfect for the Dad who appreciates a good brew or wants to learn more about them. Southern Beer Tours provide VIP brewery tours in metro Atlanta that include admission and tastings at three brewers, a local tour guide and a gift bag.

  • Stoddard’s Range & Guns is a gun range and retail store for both gun enthusiasts and amateurs. The indoor range offers sixteen 25-yard lanes and eight 25-meter lanes for international sports competitors. All lanes are rifle-rated and feature an advanced touch screen system. In addition, Stoddard’s offers basic and advanced training classes.

  • We all know Dad is the barbecue king, but maybe he could sit back for one day and enjoy some of the city’s best barbecue. We have several suggestions such as Fox Brothers Bar-B-Q, Jim ’N Nick’s Bar-B-Q, This is It! BBQ & Seafood and Twin Smokers.
