Good food, friends and family: Thanksgiving is a time of tradition and sharing your gratitude. Looking for something fun to add to your family plans this year? Here are seven ideas of things to do this Thanksgiving in Atlanta.

  1. Run for a good cause at the 2018 Thanksgiving Day Half Marathon & 5K at Georgia State Stadium. Share in the holiday spirit and give thanks for your good health and fitness. Registration cut-off date is Nov. 15.

  2. Enjoy Thanksgiving brunch without the prep or cleanup at The St. Regis Atlanta. Feast on Thanksgiving favorites and enjoy a Bloody Mary and Mimosa bar, caviar, sushi, seafood and a decadent dessert display  set in the hotel's stunning Astor Ballroom.

  3. Volunteer as a family. Visit the Hands On Atlanta website for a listing of volunteer opportunities for all ages. Here are more hands-on volunteer opportunities for Atlanta families throughout the year.
