Without further ado: our weekend picks!

Carol’s Picks
Carol is the ATL Insider’s culture vulture. If there is a new exhibit in town or a new show on the stage, Carol is the first to know about it.

  • Black History Month Parade, Saturday
Woo-hoo, I love a parade. This one starts at noon at the King Center, and it winds up in Woodruff Park where there will be vendors, music and more. Let's get going.

  • Representive John Lewis Book Signing, Friday
We Atlantans love our 5th Congressional District and the man who represents us in that district. This icon of the civil rights movement will be signing his "March Trilogy" at the airport. How special is that?

Joleen's Picks
Joleen is a work-at-home mom to a 3-year-old son. She and her family live in the 'burbs but enjoy regularly traveling into the city for family-friendly fun and adventure.

  • Atlanta Fair, Friday through April 2
This is always a family favorite. Head to the Turner Field grey lot for the annual fair and enjoy fun rides, games and festival food. And you can't beat this great deal. Advance admission can be purchased until noon on Friday for just 50 cents.

  • Songs for Kids Music and Food Festival 2017, Saturday
This sounds fun and it's for a great cause. The event at Park Tavern includes food and drink tastings from 25+ of the best Atlanta chefs and restaurants, live celebrations of popular music, as well as special kids zones with bouncy castles, face painting, magic, games and more. You'll also have an opportunity to bid in live and silent auctions, with all proceeds benefiting the Songs for Kids Foundation -- integrating musicians into the lives of kids facing illness and hardship.

Tommy's Picks
Tommy is a young professional keeping an eye out for the city's liveliest happenings.

  • Monster Energy AMA Supercrossall weekend
One of your last chances to say goodbye to the Georgia Dome is revving up this weekend. The four-day event marks 25 years of racing in the Dome with one of the most iconic events in stadium motorcycle racing.

  • 2nd Annual Mardi Gras Streetcar AdventureSaturday
Jump on the Atlanta Streetcar for easy access to 11 participating bars, restaurants and attractions from Centennial Olympic Park to Edgewood Avenue. Enjoy a mini-Mardi Gras of our own here in Atlanta with complimentary drink shots and deals at Game-X and SkyView Ferris wheel.
