Mercedes-Benz Stadium is a busy place with Atlanta United and Atlanta Falcons making their homes there and with many big concerts and special events taking the stage. Atlanta was host to MLS Cup in 2018, Super Bowl LIII in 2019 and, prior to cancellation because of the coronavirus, was scheduled to be home to the 2020 NCAA Final Four, all at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. To assist the thousands of sports fans frequently converging on Atlanta, we have identified the go-to bars and restaurants within walking distance of the new stadium.

The goal of Twin Smokers BBQ is to bring the flavors of barbecue from places including Texas, the Carolinas, Kansas City and Memphis together with a taste of Georgia. The beef at Twin Smokers is smoked over Texas mesquite and post oak. Chicken and pork are smoked over hickory and white oak. That is the Twin Smokers approach. The experts at Twin Smokers like to say that the barbecue they are serving today was smoked while you were sleeping. The restaurant offers an array of spirits, namely whiskies, bourbons and moonshine, to wash down the Q plus sides that include mac and cheese, coleslaw and potato salad. Banana pudding leads off the dessert choices.
