Bill Hancock, Executive Director of the College Football Playoff, had a few things to say after visiting Atlanta during the 2018 College Football Playoff National Championship that was hosted at the new Mercedes-Benz Stadium:
“The heart of the city, the walkability, and the concise nature of the championship campus was awesome but, more so, Atlanta brought a spirit and a can-do, welcoming attitude that we will take with us forever – we'll all remember that Atlanta was awesome. We'll be back.”
