Atlanta Pride is almost here and the lineup of scheduled events is bigger and better than ever. From early to mid-October, ATLiens (and honorary ATLien visitors) will celebrate Pride with family fun activities, late night parties, antique car shows, formal benefit galas, Top 40 concerts, a giant parade and more. Atlanta Pride is the city's biggest party! So have fun and plan accordingly this list continues to grow leading up to the big event.

FRIDAY, OCT. 5

  • First Friday at The High: Pre-Pride Party
    The High Museum is dedicating their First Friday in October to kickoff Pride with an amazing drag show, indie craft experience, photo booth, and dance floor with DJ Whitney Abstrakt. 

MONDAY, OCT. 8

  • Mayor's Inaugural LGBTQ Reception
    6-8 pm
    Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms is hosting her inaugural pride kickoff at city hall. Registered guests can enjoy hearing from notable speakers, live entertainment, and more. 

WEDNESDAY, OCT. 10

  • MSR Atlanta Pride
    Wednesday-Sunday
    Featured on Netflix's Queer Eye, My Sister's Room is hosting girl parties at venues such as Opera Nightclub and more throughout the week.

  •  Pride Night at SweetWater Brewery
    4:20 - 9 pm
    One of Atlanta's most well-known breweries will not only be releasing a special beer flavor for Pride Week, but they'll also be donating $1 per pint to Jerusalem House for a good cause.   
  • Official Atlanta Pride Kickoff Party
    7 - 11:30 pm
    The Georgia Aquarium invites guests to its annual kickoff party. Attendees can enjoy drinks, a dolphin show and strolling through the downtown attraction's various aquatic exhibits.

  • Tony Moran - Official After Aquarium Party
    9 pm - 3 am
    Join Grammy-nominated DJ Tony Moran at Heretic's kickoff after-party located off Cheshire Bridge Road in Midtown.

  • Heaven Pride Party!
    9 pm - 2:45 am
    If you can't make it to the Aquarium's Pride Kickoff Party, Park Tavern in Piedmont Park is throwing a live Sonia Leigh Band concert along with DJ Amy Alexander aka DJ FreeCity.

  • Mariconera at Mary's PRIDE Kickoff
    10 pm - 3 am
    Queer Latin vibes can be found on the Eastside's Mary's for a "spooky/romantic night of Latin, goth, disco and house" music.

  • Atlanta QueerGirl Pride Party
    10 pm - 3 am
    Known for its many margarita busts, Zocalo Atlanta is hosting a QueerGirl Pride Party along with Cristy Lawrence and DJ Go Watts.

SATURDAY, OCT. 13

  • Pride Yoga
    10 - 11:30 am
    Swami Jaya Devi (Atlanta Pride Grand Marshal 2015) will lead a free yoga class in Piedmont Park next to the Aids Quilt display. Live music will be provided by the Kashi Atlanta Kirtan Wallahs.

  • Atlanta Pride Car and Motorcycle Show
    10:45 am - 4 pm
    The Lambda Car Club, along with The Lost Boys Motorcycle Club, invites auto enthusiasts to check out antique, classic and special-interest cars and motorcycles.

  • BOTTOMS UP Drag Brunch + Social!
    11 am - 2 pm
    What's Pride without brunch, drag queens and bottomless Bloody Marys?

  • Atlanta Pride Festival
    Saturday - Sunday
    Booths officially open throughout Piedmont Park's winding pathways. Pick up some free swag, enter into various giveaways, shop for beautiful art and enjoy cuisine from local food trucks Saturday and Sunday.

  • Atlanta Pride Family Zone presented by Turner
    Saturday - Sunday
    Kids of all ages are welcome to get their faces painted, play games, enjoy inflatables and spend time with other LGBTQ families. The Kid’s Zone is open to families all weekend long and is located at the back of the Meadow by the Coca-Cola main stage.

  • Atlanta Pride Gaymers Space
    Saturday - Sunday
    Gamers can find solitude at the Gaymers Space which includes fun board games, card games and more.

  • The Annual Trans March
    1:30 - 4:30 pm
    Celebrating the trans community, the march includes trans people and trans allies filled with positive banners and signs. Individuals are encouraged to make and bring signs supportive of trans issues.

  • Power 96.1's ATL Pride Concert
    2 pm
    Madison Beer, Bebe Rexha and Mike Posner headline this year's Pride with other featured musical guests.

  • QUEEN BUTCH w/ DJ Cuntrera & William Francis
    2 - 9 pm
    DJ Cuntrera & William Francis from NYC come to Atlanta Pride for a special outdoor Pride set of house and disco. This NYC duo will be spinning daytime back-to-back Pride Saturday on the patio of Midtown Tavern.

  • The Annual Dyke March
    5:30 - 8:30 pm
    Dedicated to women's empowerment in the LGBT community, all women are invited to participate in efforts to nurture and build a new tomorrow, united for equality and justice.

  • Atlanta Pride Queer Your Gender Dance Party!
    7 - 9 pm
    Join the trap dance party with DJ Canvas at the Nissan Stage in Piedmont Park.

  • ATL Pride Main Event
    10 pm - 2:30 am
    The Tabernacle features DJ Abel with a special performance by Phoenix.

  • Deep South PRIDE w/ OCTO OCTA
    10 pm - 3 am
    Located off Edgewood Avenue, The Music Room will feature five DJs playing all night.

  • DJ Paulo ATL PRIDE Afterhours
    3 - 7 am
    DJ Paulo returns to Xion with his yearly after-party sound.

SUNDAY, OCT. 14

  • HRC Atlanta Pride Brunch
    10:30 am - 2 pm
    While watching the parade, guests will be treated to two hours of complimentary brunch cocktails and a delicious Southern brunch catered by Empire State South.

  • Atlanta History Center Midtown's Pride Parade Party
    11 am - 4 pm
    The Atlanta History Center Midtown location invites parade attendees to their parade watch party, colorful swag and cash bar included.

  • Atlanta Pride Parade
    Noon - 3 pm
    204 floats will participate in the city's largest parade, which begins near the Civic Center MARTA Station and ends at Piedmont Park.

  • Spectra: Atlanta Pride Panel & Celebration
    4 - 8 pm
    Sponsored by Lexus, this event will feature an LGBTQ influencer panel about "The Future of the LGBTQ Community." There will also be "slaying music," fun pride surprises and drink specials.

  • ATL Pride Closing Party
    9 pm - 3 am
    DJ's Joe Gauthreaux & Jesus Montanez close out Atlanta Pride at Opera Nightclub in Midtown.
