In honor of Mother’s Day, show mom how much you love her by celebrating her all weekend long. From music festivals to free family festivals and even deals created just for Mom, here are some of our top suggestions for celebrating Mother’s Day in Atlanta.

  1. For Water Fun Adventures
All moms receive free admission to the Georgia Aquarium on Sunday, along with a card and special gifts while supplies last. Also, bring Mom and save $5 off a guided afternoon paddle ride on the Chattahoochee River.

  2. For Music Loving Mamas
Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre in Alpharetta will be rocking all weekend with Zac Brown Band on Friday and Saturday and ZZ Top with Jeff Beck on Sunday. Friday through Sunday in Midtown is Shaky Knees Music Festival with a lineup including The Strokes, The Avett Brothers, Ryan Adams and many more.

  3. For Tasty Brunch Spots
Enjoy brunch at Park Tavern followed by a family photo at Piedmont Park overlooking the city skyline. There are plenty of other special Mother’s Day brunches going on throughout the city. Also, enjoy signature menus at exclusive prices all weekend during Atlantic Station Restaurant Week.

  4. For Free Festival Fun
Enjoy free family fun at Sweet Auburn Springfest, one of the largest outdoor festivals in the Southeast or head on over to Chastain Park Spring Arts & Crafts Festival with 185 artists and artisans.

In addition to the above ideas, be sure to check out our Mother’s Day page for a list of much more going on this weekend.
