There are so many things to do in Atlanta but one of our favorites is finding a great hotel with a fantastic bar and letting a creative bartender serve up a glass of wonderfulness.

Here are some of our favorite drinking holes in hotels with signature drinks.

  • The Ritz-Carlton Buckhead has a beautiful bar with lots of mirrors and comfortable chairs perfect for a before or after dinner drink or a business meeting. Try the Buckhead Cosmo, with house-infused cranberry and lime vodka, orange liqueur, cranberry juice and a fresh squeeze of lime.

  • St. Regis Atlanta’s signature bar features an original mural of a phoenix rising from the ashes and serves a bourbon from the Woodford Reserve Distillery. In addition, it features a special selection of tequila that is crafted with 100-percent blue agave. Among our favorites is the Heart of Darkness with St. Regis Atlanta Woodford Reserve, cyan, house chai syrup, Pimms and lavender bitters. The bar also welcomes the changing of seasons with a Long Summer’s Journey into Fall that mixes Denizen white rum, house vanilla and cinnamon syrup, allspice and B&B  or the Lion in Winter with High West Campfire whiskey, allspice, brandy juice, apple cider and Aperol.

  • The Grand Hyatt’s Onyx at the Grand is a fabulous place to engage in great conversation while having snacks and one of the bar’s many specialty drinks. Some of the house classics are the Lavender Caipirinha, Cucumber Elixir and  Onyx Earhart with Absolut vodka, St. Germaine plus strawberry and blackberry puree.

  • The Bourbon Bar at Buckhead’s Intercontinental Hotel is an Atlanta favorite with more than 70 hand-picked bourbons as well as specialty cocktails with a twist on American pre-Prohibition era classics.

Outside Atlanta:

  • The Renaissance Atlanta Waverly in Cobb County provides the perfect atmosphere for a nice drink and conversation. The Waverley’s Bar ritual program is centered around the use of local ingredients or distilleries such as Old Fourth Ward vodka. The Tosca Blu bar has a few signature drinks including the Waverly Mule, which includes Old Fourth Ward vodka, Stoli ginger beer and lime.

  • The Club Room at the Emory Conference Center Hotel is a great place to relax and connect after a  day of meetings.

  • Westin Atlanta Airport Hotel offers great drinks to make your flight more enjoyable. The aptly named Martini’s offers a selection of wine, imported beer and specialty cocktails.

  • Le Meridien’s Longitude 84 bar offers an inspirational atmosphere of hand-selected artwork and carefully crafted cocktails. Try the Perimeter area hotel’s signature cocktails including the champagne cocktail, illy Espresso martini and the ginger margarita with Jose Cuervo tequila, ginger, lime and ginger salt.
