You don’t need a lot of money to enjoy Atlanta. Not only do we have many free – or low-cost – attractions but many of our top hotels have moderately priced restaurants for lunch. Here are some of our favorite hotel restaurants that won’t bust the budget.

  • SEAR, located in the Atlanta Marriott Marquis downtown, offers fire-kissed seafood and steaks. If you want a glass of wine with lunch, choose from more than 100 varieties. Among the lunch items are: grilled flat breads (starting at $11); sear pasta with roasted red pepper pesto ($15) and the Big Three, which includes soup, sandwich of the day and a Caesar or mixed green salad ($15).

  • Atlanta’s new hotel is the Renaissance Atlanta Airport Gateway, which is connected to Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. Chef Blake McDonald is the chef of Hickory & Hazel Southern Table and Bar, which – in addition to great-tasting food – offers weekly social events and interactive experiences. Hotel guests are invited to enjoy a complimentary signature punch four nights a week. Among the lunch menu items are: wild Gulf shrimp with Geechie Boy grits ($14); hickory smoked brisket ($14); and the H&H salad ($9).

  • Collage Restaurant, located in the Sheraton Atlanta, is a cheerfully informal breakfast and lunch restaurant that offers buffet options as well as a la carte menus. Some of our favorite dishes are the fried green tomatoes ($9) and a Caesar salad ($9).

  • Slightly South Regional Kitchen & Lounge, located in the DoubleTree Hotel in Buckhead, is an upscale but casual lobby restaurant. Although it attracts a large after-work crowd for cocktails, the lunch menu really shines with appetizers, sandwiches and full entrees, such as chicken and waffles ($15); Southern meatloaf ($15); and a turkey burger ($11).

  • The Georgia Tech Hotel and Conference Center is right in the heart of Midtown, and the Club Room is the perfect place for juicy burgers, gourmet pizzas and sandwiches. You can also work off some calories with a game of pool.

  • Adjacent to Lenox Square is Nox Creek at the JW Marriott, which is a terrific lobby bar that also serves a fantastic and creative lunch menu. Try the ultimate veggie burger ($12); seared scallops ($12); and an organic chicken sandwich ($14).

  • 45Zero serves traditional Southern fare in a bistro-style atmosphere. Located at the Ramada Plaza downtown, 45Zero is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
