Atlanta is an international destination. Nowhere is this more evident than area that is home to more than 1,000 immigrant-owned businesses, Buford Highway. Riding down Buford Highway, which crosses Fulton, DeKalb and Gwinnett counties, don't be fooled by the non-impressive strip malls. Inside these strip malls is truly authentic cuisine at extremely affordable prices.
Brunch. Try Canton House’s Dim Sum. Dim Sum is as an award-winning specialty at this wonderful Cantonese restaurant. With fresh, hot, huge portions, you'll find quick and friendly service and excellent quality. Even out-of-towners quickly become regulars.
Seafood. Try A-Priori, which features treats from the sea. As a restaurant, A-Priori delivers sumptuous gourmet cuisine that includes mixed Eastern-European seafood and meat delicacies. As a Bar & Lounge it provides live music, excellent service, décor and atmosphere.
Fried Seafood. Visit Crawfish Shack, a Cajun-style restaurant with a twist of Vietnamese fusion. All of the food is cooked to order using live, in-season seafood. Can't get much fresher.

Vietnamese. Try Co'm or Lee’s Bakery. Co'm offers authentic Vietnamese cuisine that blends ingredients together to create a sophisticated and delightful cuisine unlike any you have tasted before. Nearby Lee's Bakery is no frills, simply good and authentic food. Eat in and you never know who you will see there or sit next to. Buy the bahn mi by the half dozen or dozen; you will have no problem eating them all.
Mexican/Latin. Try Havana, Rincon Latino or Taqueria El Rey Del Taco. All of these do their cuisine right. Havana offers some of the best Cuban food this side of Miami, while Rincon Latino puts some Salvadorian spice on your typical Latin food. Taqueria El Rey Del Taco is THE spot for tacos on Buford Highway. You can't miss with any of these restaurants.

Korean.Try Woo Nam Jeong Stone Bowl House in Seoul Plaza. Here, you may be tempted to stick with Bibimbap, but if you are feeling more adventurous, order the Nine Treasure Plate (Gujeolpan) and steamed black pork belly with kimchi and oysters (Bo Ssam). Another hidden gem of Korean fare on Buford Highway is Dongne Bangne. Bring a group and get the Summer Stamina Goat Hotpot (Yeomsul Chongul).

Dessert. Order at the restaurant where you are dining or explore the options for sweets all along Buford Highway. Bakeries like Mozart and White Windmill have a mesmerizing amount of treats. If you are searching for something cooler, literally, then try one of the rolled ice cream places on Buford Highway? I-CE-NY and 8 Fahrenheit are quite popular and oh so fun, especially if you’ve got kids.
Entertainment. There’s more to Buford Highway than food. After dinner, you can head to LIPS Atlanta for a drag show or be the entertainment yourself at one of several karaoke bars. For some daytime fun explore Buford Highway Farmer’s Market to pick up cooking supplies or Plaza Fiesta for plenty of stores with lots of diverse offerings. You’ll find tons of surprises and delight in the variety.
