What to Expect with Weather and Climate

Atlanta experiences all four seasons including some humid summer days, often, with temperatures reaching the in the uppers. Therefore, be cognizant of which outdoor activities you choose when planning a meeting during the summer. The city is well-prepared for this though, offering ample indoor meeting spaces and nice and cool attractions for visitors.

While the winters are generally mild, the city does occasionally experience that true feeling of winter weather, so come prepared. Spring and fall tend to be comfortable, breezy and beautiful, and both residents and visitors alike love to enjoy the city's lush green spaces during these seasons.

Atlanta is a truly eclectic city, and each of its numerous neighborhoods house hidden gems that will keep groups wanting to explore more. Two of Atlanta's most dense and notable neighborhoods are Downtown and Midtown.

Midtown is home to attractions and venues like the Fox Theatre, the High Museum of Art, and the expansive Piedmont Park, and offers a great laid-back atmosphere. While the city is car-friendly and tends to offer ample parking, expect traffic (it's the hub of the southeast!). Most of Atlanta's sights can be visited using the MARTA rapid rail transit system, which offers both bus and train services.
