Is love in the air? Ready to pop the question? Atlanta is full of beautiful and unique places to propose to that special someone. Check out these seven favorites:

  1. Atlanta Botanical Garden
The garden is always a beautiful location to stroll hand-in-hand with your significant other. For a truly special backdrop, you might consider visiting Orchid Daze, an annual exhibition showcasing thousands of incredible orchids. If you're into symbolism, it might interest you to know that orchids have "a long history of being associated with love, fertility and elegance throughout various cultures and time periods." Yellow orchids symbolize new beginnings, and purple orchids symbolize admiration.

  2. Atlanta History Center
The Swan House and Gardens – need we say more? This gorgeous estate would be an amazing backdrop to a romantic proposal, but maybe you prefer something a little more rustic? Visit the Smith Family Farm instead. Atlanta History Center is just bursting with beautiful and picturesque spots for that perfect proposal.

  3. Woodruff Arts Center
Woodruff Arts Center is one of the premiere cultural centers in the nation. If you don’t want to take advantage of one of the many theater or symphony performances, perhaps a stroll through its extensive art offerings may inspire the perfect spot for that proposal. If it's a nice day, you may feel inspired in front of one of the large-scale interactive installations on the Carroll Slater Sifly Piazza.

  4. Atlanta BeltLine
Bring out the bicycles and pack a romantic picnic for a fun ride along Atlanta’s BeltLine. This beautiful outdoor space features miles of green space, accented with tons of art installations, creating literally hundreds of possible proposal locations. “Where Atlanta Comes Together” is the BeltLine’s slogan. How apropos. Why not hire a professional photographer to secretly catch your special moment? Then you can surprise him or her with a "(s)he said yes" session.

  5. Chattahoochee Nature Center
With its gorgeous gardens, river and nature trails, Chattahoochee Nature Center is chock full of beautiful spaces for a perfect proposal. Join a canoe trip or go stargazing on a night hike. CNC can offer a memorable location to pop the question.

  6. SkyView Atlanta
If you can handle the height, it’s hard to beat SkyView’s 200-foot tall Ferris wheel and accompanying views. Gondolas are climate controlled, pictures are available and there is even a VIP package for a super memorable night. Afterward, take a celebratory stroll around Centennial Olympic Park.

  7. Your College Alma Mater
Maybe you want to pop the question to your college sweetheart or give him or her a private tour of days gone past. College campuses can make a beautiful and unique backdrop to the very best "yes."
