If you’ve got company in town to celebrate a graduate, show off your city at these restaurants that are perfect for groups.

  1. 1Kept – Though the hard-to-find location gives it an almost speakeasy-like vibe, 1Kept is work seeking out. The inventive cocktails are terrific, and the menu includes dishes, like scallops and risotto or pork schnitzel, which are incredible.

  2. Alma Cocina – Located downtown, Alma is breath of fresh air. The upscale Latin cuisine is beautifully presented in a lively atmosphere.

  3. Bistro Niko – If a beautiful atmosphere is what you’re looking for, look no further than Buckhead’s Bistro Niko. The vibrant colors and upscale décor are sure to have dinner off to a great start. Try the rabbit ravioli, shrimp wontons or duck breast.

  4. Ecco – The large Midtown spot features delectable Mediterranean dishes. You can’t go wrong with any of the fish selections.

  5. Davios – Italian is always a fantastic choice with group dining, and one of the best in the city is Davio’s in Buckhead. The unique spring rolls are a great way to kick off dinner. For entrees you will be happy with any of the pasta dishes like the gnocchi.

  6. Doraku – Located in the Shops Buckhead Atlanta, Doraku offers a  lot more than sushi. Begin with lotus root chips for the table. These highly addictive chips are way healthier than any other chips you’ll eat and packed with flavor. Sea urchin pasta and truffle salmon with guacamole yuzu sauce are also winners. Wash it all down with Dancing Crane Sake, perfect with any entrée.

  7. ONE Midtown Kitchen – Recently undergoing a face-lift with updated décor, this Midtown hot spot hasn’t waned in popularity since opening. The wall full of wine bottles is an indication of the superb wine list. The new American menu is sure to please any palate.

  8. Pig and the Pearl – As the name suggests, the Atlantic Station restaurant is known for barbecue and oysters. Open for both lunch and dinner, it’s a good choice to feed your crowd at reasonable prices.

  9. Smoke Ring – The Castleberry Hill joint churns out some mighty fine ‘cue. Try the pig’s ear fries. For your barbecue, sauces are very unique with chef Wakefield’s mustard sauce or the ancho chile red sauce.

  10. SOHO – This has been a Vinings favorite for years and with good reason. There is a large seating area on the glass-covered porch, perfect for groups. Get the calamari, and for entrees you can’t go wrong with the sea bass or elk.

  11. Sun in My Belly – While many think of this Kirkwood spot for breakfast and brunch, few know it serves delicious dinners, too. The supper club is available most evenings and is a four-course meal for $40. The menu changes weekly, but dishes have included English pea salad and lamb loin skewers. The long tables are perfect for large groups.

  12. Tavernpointe – Three words. Smoked. Peruvian. Meats. These are a specialty at Midtown’s Tavernpointe. Lots of unique cocktails like the Time Invested are available. Starters of mussels or bacon-wrapped dates are outstanding, too.

  13. True Food Kitchen – Located in Buckhead’s Lenox Square Mall, True Food Kitchen is an organic restaurant with healthy eating that tastes great. The restaurant is huge with lots of large tables to accommodate groups. Start with the pomegranate limeade, and get the salmon or red chili shrimp.

  14. Under the Cork Tree – A newcomer in Sandy Springs, the tapas restaurant features an excellent wine list and is a lovely spot for a gathering, especially with a private room. The tapas like octopus, Medjool dates and albondigas outshine the paella.

  15. Watershed – Anyone looking for upscale Southern food will love Buckhead’s Watershed. The fried chicken and deviled eggs are always a hit. There are several large tables for group dining.

  16. Wrecking Bar – Foodie? Check. Beer lover? Check. Architecture lover? Check. The historic spot is a unique place to get your group together. The small menu is perfect for foodies with items like duck confit tacos and beef cheeks.

  17. White Oak Kitchen and Cocktails – Another downtown spot popular for groups is White Oak Kitchen and Cocktails. The modern take on Southern food is nothing short of spectacular.
