What's on your Atlanta bucket list this year? Perhaps you want to visit a museum with your family or be entertained by the latest shows.   1. Center for Puppetry Arts – A great visit for the young at heart, ages 2 through 102. CPA features a puppetry museum housing the largest Jim Henson collection in the world among its exhibitions. CPA hosts workshops and provides puppet theater for all ages.

  4. Martin Luther King National Historic Site – OK, it's not totally indoors and you might need to bring your umbrella for this one, but it’s worth it.   5. High Museum of Art – Hardly stuffy, this museum jewel of the Southeast boasts a permanent collection of more than 11,000 pieces and welcomes several traveling exhibitions each year. The High has programs for families and youth as well as a stellar gift shop.

  6. College Football Hall of Fame and Chick-fil-A Fan Experience. – College football fans, rejoice. This sports museum is chock full of technology not to be believed. Learn all about your favorite teams in an amazing interactive experience.

  7. Georgia Aquarium – "With more than 10 million gallons of fresh and marine water and more aquatic life than found in any other aquarium, you are sure to see things you've never seen before." You'll want to tour each of the exhibits and galleries downstairs, then head upstairs with your little ones to check out Aquanaut Adventure: A Discovery Zone.
