The Georgia Aquarium opened Nov. 23, 2005, and is the world's largest aquarium. The second largest exhibit at the Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta, GA, holds 800,000 gallons of water and is home to four beluga whales. Other features at the Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta include the 4-D theater, the Learning Loop and the world-class veterinary services and conservation medicine facility.
