AVP Volleyball
The Association of Volleyball Professionals, or AVP, is a beach volleyball tournament that hosts the best players in the U.S. Its summer tour starts in April and continues almost every weekend until the end of September. The winter tour starts in January and hosts tournaments Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays until the end of February.
Atlanta has hosted Olympic gold medalists Phil Dalhausser and Todd Rogers, who were upset in a three-game final by John Hyden and Sean Scott for the championship title. Check the Atlanta Sports Events Calendar for this season's can't-miss sets and spikes!
