NASCAR is the second most-watched sport on television, after professional football. The sport has garnered such high international attention that it is now broadcasted in 150 countries worldwide, and holds 17 of the top 20 most-attended single-day sporting events in the world.

In Atlanta, NASCAR races are held at the Atlanta Motor Speedway located in nearby Hampton, Georgia. More than 150,000 people from all over the globe attend the racetrack's annual NASCAR events. 

2014 Season
-  NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Qualifying: Friday, August 29th
-  NASCAR Nationwide Series: Saturday, August 30th 
-  NASCAR Sprint Cup Series: Sunday, August 31st

The NASCAR Sprint Cup race is held annually on Labor Day weekend and has historically been the second to the last race before the Chase for the Sprint Cup begins.

The Nationwide Series is a NASCAR racing event that compliments the Sprint Cup Series race and is a great way for visitors to experience the full-throttle action at Atlanta Motor Speedway!
