  • Parks and Venues

Atlanta has many parks, green spaces and facilities that provide excellent gathering places for your family members to take in the natural surroundings and re-energize. Plan an afternoon or an entire day at one of Atlanta's top parks including: Candler Park,  Centennial Olympic Park, Chastain Memorial Park, Freedom Park, Grant Park and  Piedmont Park. Venture just outside of the city to  Stone Mountain Park, Sun Valley Beach, Lake Lanier Islands and Welcome All Park in the airport area. There are also many family reunion facility rentals from which to choose!

Plan a budget-friendly picnic at one of 17  East Point parks that can include such amenities as tennis courts, playgrounds, pavilions, grills, athletic fields, basketball and volleyball courts and walking trails.

The possibilities are endless at Atlanta's parks and facilities—whether you plan a hiking trip with the family, a day of recreational activities or a picnic, it's easy to plan something the entire family will enjoy.
