The Atlanta Preservation Center is the agency for coordination, knowledge, research and advocacy for preservation in the City. Founded in November 1979, APC works with government, business and community leaders and individuals to preserve endangered residential and commercial structures, neighborhoods and landscapes. The Center’s Guided Walking Tours of historic neighborhoods and sites covers 10 different locations around Downtown Atlanta with special or private tours available by request.
