Within steps of the Georgia World Congress Center, are the city’s best entertainment, dining, and shopping venues. The convention corridor is located in the center of everything and is the ideal place to catch a conference break.



Atlanta Resources

Atlanta City Pass
The Atlanta CityPass connects convention visitors to the city’s top attractions. Visitors with free time can enjoy eight venues including the Georgia Aquarium, the New World of Coca-Cola, Inside CNN Atlanta Studio Tour, the High Museum of Art, Atlanta History Center, Zoo Atlanta, Fernbank Museum of Natural History and the Atlanta Botanical Garden at nearly 50 percent off the regular admission price.


Stay Connected
During your free time, explore the city and cash in on huge downtown savings. The Downtown Connects Card offers visitors special discounts at downtown area attractions.

Atlanta Dining
Atlanta offers southern hospitality and sizzling cuisine. City dining is diverse and unique tasty treats include sweet tea, fried green tomatoes and refreshing Coca Cola.

Downtown
Great downtown eats can be found at Ray’s in the City, the Sun Dial Restaurant and Thrive. Ray’s in the City is located in the center of downtown and features fresh seafood. The Sun Dial Restaurant is a tri-level upscale restaurant featuring panoramic city views and amazing meals. Located just seconds away from the convention center is Thrive. The new restaurant offers delicious food combined with a luxury setting.


Famous faces and big bison burgers can be found at Ted’s Montana Grill. The restaurant is co-owned by Atlanta media mogul Ted Turner and features classic Americana cuisine. There is also a food court located Downtown at the Peachtree Center Mall.

Midtown
In Midtown, you’ll find the ultra chic and glamorous TROIS.The venue spans three floors and features French cuisine, an extensive wine list and a suspended art gallery. Also located in Midtown is ECCO. The venue was recently named the “Best New Restaurant” by Esquire magazine and features seasonally inspired cuisine with European influences. You can also enjoy Varsity, a 75-year Atlanta icon serving chili dogs, peach pies and an Atlanta tradition, the Frosted Orange. Reservations can be made quickly at Open Table.

Transportation

MARTA, Atlanta's public transportation system, offers rapid rail and bus service that is easy to navigate. MARTA is also available directly from Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. Atlanta Link is an additional transportation option that services the airport, downtown, Midtown and Buckhead.

Atlanta has established set taxi fares between the airport and the downtown convention district and several other locations. Atlanta’s many rental car agencies can also help you get around the city.
