Try the Sweet Auburn Bread Company, formerly housed in the Sweet Auburn Curb Market. Chef/Owner Sonya Jones' bakery is now right at home at 234 Auburn Ave. NE, in the same neighborhood where she grew up and learned to love baking as a young girl. Afternoon
The Atlanta History Center houses permanent and traveling exhibitions as well as a wing celebrating the Centennial Olympic Games. See the historic Tullie Smith House, an 1840s farm with gardens and live farm animals, and stroll through nature trails to visit the 1910 Swan House mansion.

While in Atlanta, don't miss the Margaret Mitchell House and Museum, original home of Gone With the Wind author, Margaret Mitchell. Almost thirty of Bob Adelman's photographs, also featured in KING: The Photobiography of Martin Luther King, Jr. are currently displayed on the first floor of the Margaret Mitchell House.

Dinner
