Atlanta’s
Legacy Logo Usage Guidelines
Purpose of the Legacy Logo
As part of our “community welcome” program for the thousands of guests
visiting our city during the 2007 NCAA Men’s Final Four® weekend, March
30-April 2, the Atlanta Local Organizing Committee (ALOC) and the Atlanta Convention & Visitors
Bureau (ACVB) have created a special “look” with a prominent basketball
theme for our partners use.
Usage Guide
- The Legacy logo must be used in its entirety.
- The logo should
be the dominant element when used.
- The logo should not be used
in conjunction with any other corporate marks.
- Don’t stretch,
distort or alter the logo.
- The colors should not be altered.
Incorrect Use
DO NOT
- Condense or expand the mark in any way.
- Create an outline of
the mark.
- Introduce any other color.
- Alter the orientation or arrangement
of the logo.
- Enclose the mark within a shape that could be seen
as part of the mark.
- Reproduce the mark on a visually distracting
background.
- Add additional elements to the logo such as rule
lines and drop shadows.
- Place the logo in proximity to any corporate
mark.
Any use of the Legacy Logo must be approved by the ACVB
in advance. Please fill out the Legacy
Logo Request Form and
submit it to Samantha Wallace at the ACVB.
