WHAT'S FEATHERFEST?
Every January, nearly 20,000 attendees from around the world take flight to Atlanta and land at the Georgia World Congress Center, the meeting nest for the International Poultry Expo/International Feed Expo.
Once again, Atlanta Convention & Visitors Bureau and the U.S. Poultry and Egg Association put their eggs into one basket to hatch FeatherFest, a week-long event that twined more than 50 Atlanta restaurants into a culinary competition to create the best appetizers and entrees that include poultry meat. IPE convention attendees and Atlanta foodies were encouraged to peck a few of the participating restaurants and cast their votes here on Atlanta.net. Voting ended on Jan. 26, 2012.
