
The Georgia Dome, located in the heart of Downtown Atlanta, will be the home of the 2007 NCAA® Men's Final Four®.
The largest cable-supported domed stadium in the world, the Georgia Dome is home to the Atlanta Falcons, and has
hosted the 1994 and 2000 Super Bowls, as well as the gymnastics and basketball events for the 1996 Centennial Olympic Games.
Operated by The Georgia World Congress Center Authority, the Georgia Dome opened in 1992. Annually, the Dome
hosts the Bank of America Atlanta Football Classic, the SEC Football Championship and the Chick-fil-A Bowl.
This year, the Georgia Dome will host the 2007 SEC Men's Basketball Championship. The Dome is also equipped
to handle large non-sporting events, which include everything from major trade shows and conventions to religious
events featuring such ministers as Billy Graham and T.D. Jakes to concerts by entertainers such as the Rolling Stones
and Backstreet Boys. The Dome is also home to Monster Jam, Supercross, high school sporting competitions as well as
many types of band events.
Covering 8.9 acres and providing a permanent seating capacity of 71,250, the Dome is located conveniently in the heart
