GAME & TICKET INFORMATION

When are the National Semifinals and National Championship games scheduled to be played?
The National Semifinals will be played on Saturday, March 31, with the first game tipping off at approximately 6pm EST. The National Championship will be played on Monday, April 2 at approximately 9pm. All games will be played in the Georgia Dome in Atlanta, GA.

When will the teams be chosen for the 2007 NCAA Final Four?
On Sunday, March 11, the 65-team bracket for the 2007 NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Championship will be announced at 6pm EST on CBS.
Tune in to all the 2007 Championship action on CBS beginning on Thursday, March 15. The Opening Round game will be broadcast live on ESPN on Tuesday, March 13.

How are tickets for the 2007 NCAA Final Four allocated?
All tickets available to the general public were allocated via a random selection process conducted by the NCAA. The application deadline was May 31, 2006. The event is now sold out.

When will I find out if my entry was selected in the random computerized drawing?
Lottery winners were notified of their selection in September 2006. Tickets will be distributed in January 2007. Refunds to non-winners were issued by October 2006.

Are practices open to the public? If so, when are they and how much do they cost?
Yes on Final Four Friday! Come join us on Friday, March 30 for open practice at the Georgia Dome. Admission and parking are free of charge. Doors open at 10:30am. Practices will be between 12pm at 4pm.

What television network will air the 2007 NCAA Final Four?
Tune in to all the 2007 Championship action on CBS beginning on Thursday, March 15. The Opening Round game will be broadcast live on ESPN on Tuesday, March 13.
Game times will be confirmed and announced no later than 3:30pm on Monday afternoon, March 12 on www.NCAAsports.com.

What radio network will broadcast the 2007 NCAA Final Four?
The local Westwood One affiliate will broadcast the games here in Atlanta. Check back for more information soon.




FACILITY INFORMATION

When was the Georgia Dome built?
The Georgia Dome, part of the Georgia World Congress Center complex, opened in 1992.

What is the permanent seating capacity of the Georgia Dome?
The Dome's seating capacity is 71,250 for football, including the executive suites and club seats. For the Final Four, it will seat over 53,000 fans.

What other NCAA events have been held in the Georgia Dome?
Annually, the Dome hosts the Atlanta Football classic, the SEC Football Championship, and the Chick-fil-A Bowl. Additional events have included the 2002 NCAA Men's and 2003 NCAA Women's Final Fours. Recently, due to Hurricane Katrina, the 2006 Sugar Bowl Classic.

Approximately 8,000.




NCAA INFORMATION

How many championships does the NCAA conduct?
The NCAA conducts eighty-eight (88) championships in twenty-three (23) sports.

What is a YES® Clinic?
Acting on behalf of the NCAA, the National Youth Sports Corporation (NYSC) will conduct Youth Education through Sports "YES" Clinics for local youth groups at various locations throughout Atlanta, including Hoop City at the Georgia World Congress Center. The clinics are free for youth ages 10 to 18, and attendance at these events is by pre-registration only. Representatives of the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) will conduct instructional sessions focusing on basketball skills, academic pursuits, fitness and personal enrichment.

What is the NABC?
The National Association of Basketball Coaches is the largest professional association of basketball coaches and currently claims a membership of nearly 5,000 men's basketball coaches throughout the ranks of the NCAA, NAIA, junior and community colleges and high school.

Where is the 2007 National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) All-Star Game?

What is Hoop City®?
Hoop City is a highly interactive fan festival held in conjunction with the NCAA Final Four each year. In 2007, Hoop City will be held at the Georgia World Congress Center, next to the Georgia Dome. This event celebrates college basketball and provides an opportunity for everyone to participate in the excitement of Final Four weekend. Hoop City features interactive venues and skill competitions, along with YES® Clinics (Youth Education for Sports) conducted by collegiate coaches. How do I purchase tickets for the 2008 NCAA Final Four?
