Children’s Christmas Parade The Children's Christmas Parade
The Children's Christmas Parade is one of the Southeast's premier holiday parades, attracting more than 300,000 spectators annually. You can even leave your sleigh at home. The Five Points and Peachtree Center MARTA stations are within walking distance of the parade route. Limited parking is available in pay lots. The earlier you arrive, the better your chances of getting a good view.

A full week's festivities celebrate the birthday and contributions of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Events include the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra's annual tribute, "A King Celebration," at the King Chapel of Morehouse College. A can't miss event is the MLK March & Rally in the Sweet Auburn District. Other events include the Salute to Greatness Awards banquet, which honors individuals committed to MLK's ideals, a Commemorative Service at Ebenezer Baptist Church, as well as exhibits, children's activities and concerts throughout the city.

Throughout the month of February, theaters city-wide will premiere more than 60 films. Come celebrate cinematic storytelling with contemporary narratives and documentaries exploring universal stories with Jewish themes at Atlanta's largest film festival. Featuring docudramas, romantic comedies, animated shorts, biographies and more, the 13th Annual Atlanta Jewish Film Festival is a treat for movie buffs and animation lovers alike.
