Getting Around By Car

Crank up the ignition and start exploring

The rumors are true, there are a lot of Atlanta streets with Peachtree in the name. There’s only one you really need to know that, and that’s the main Peachtree Street that runs from downtown to Buckhead, putting you right in the middle of all the action.

You’ve probably also heard there’s a little traffic here, and just like most large cities, if you find yourself on the highway during rush hour, it may be stop-and-go. However, if you learn to navigate Atlanta’s surface streets like the locals, you’ll get where you are going in no time.

It’s easy to get around Atlanta’s neighborhoods without ever finding yourself on an interstate. Most of the city’s in-town neighborhoods are within a couple of miles of that famous Peachtree Street, so it’s an easy drive to find top-notch dining and entertainment.

Use these resources for everything you need to know about Atlanta traffic, parking and navigation.
