Atlanta’s Castleberry Hill neighborhood, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, represents the most complete warehouse district still surviving in the city of Atlanta. The area is in the midst of a renaissance as it becomes a burgeoning arts district with dynamic loft homes. Join locals for the 2nd Friday ArtStroll – a free, self-guided tour of the community’s galleries and studios – or FLUX, the annual public art event that fills the streets with dance, visual arts, installations, 3-D projections and performers.

In Castleberry Hill, enjoy a casual dining experience at No Mas! Hacienda & Cantina – an eclectic emporium of works by Mexican artisans and a restaurant serving authentic Latin dishes inside and with a patio perfect for sipping margaritas. If you want to take a step into Atlanta’s history, pull up a table at Paschal’s, the unofficial headquarters for civil rights activists in the 1960s.  Paschal’s serves some of Atlanta’s best fried chicken and biscuits – the perfect complement to any Atlanta visit.
