Decatur Organic Farmers Market
The Decatur Organic Farmers Market prides itself on serving only the finest organic produce, breads, flowers, jams and sauces from local farmers and vendors. The market is open Wednesdays year-round from 4 to 7 p.m. and is located in the Bank of America parking lot at Clairemont Avenue.

East Atlanta Village Farmers Market
More like a festival than simply a farmers market, the East Atlanta Village Farmers Market houses several vendors selling fresh produce and handmade crafts, as well as daily musical acts. The market is open every Thursday from May to November, 4 p.m. to dusk, at Village Hardware on Glenwood Avenue.

Morningside Farmers Market
Morningside Farmers Market sells only locally grown organic produce (the fartherst any vendor travels is two hours) and provides weekly chef demonstrations beginning at 9:30 a.m. Morningside is open Saturdays year-round from 8 to 11:30 a.m. on N. Highland Avenue.

Peachtree Road Farmers Market
Founded by Restaurant Eugene owner and Chef Linton Hopkins, the Peachtree Road Farmers Market recently began offering cooking demos from Hopkins himself, as well as other high-profile Atlanta chefs. The market is open on Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. to noon at the Cathedral of St. Philip on Peachtree Road.  

Atlanta State Farmers Market
The Atlanta State Farmers Market is both a market and tourist destination with fresh Georgia-grown produce like peanuts and corn, a Garden Center offering landscaping tips and supplies, a Market Grocery with specialty foods and canned goods and plenty of souvenirs. The Atlanta State Farmers Market is the largest produce market in the United States. Even better, it's open 364 days a year.

Studioplex Green Market
The newest additon to the farmers market scene in Atlanta, Studioplex Green Market offers fresh produce from farms in Habersham and Rabun counties. The market is driven by a philanthropic effort- proceeds from market sales benefit City Church-Eastside and leftover fruits and veggies from the day will be donated to Open Hand, a non-profit organization based in Atlanta. The market is open every Saturday through the fall from 8 a.m. to noon across from the main entrance to Studioplex Lofts.

Dekalb Farmers Market
The Dekalb Farmers Market opened its doors in 1977, and since then the 140,000-square-foot building has served the Decatur community with only the finest low-cost produce, seafood, bread, meat and dairy products. The wide assortment of international foods keeps consumers from all nationalities coming back for more, as does the "taste-as-you-go" philosophy instilled by the owneres. Dekalb Farmers Market is open every day but Christmas and Thanksgiving from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the intersection of East Ponce de Leon Avenue and Laredo Drive.
