The Chattahoochee Nature Center is a private non-profit 127-acre, award-winning, interpretive center dedicated to environmental education. Visitors particularly enjoy the new Gold level LEED certified Discovery Center Museum and Nature Exchange with hands on-minds on exhibits focused on telling the river's story. Visitors are invited to bring a picnic, hike the woodland trails, meander through beautiful butterfly and native plant gardens or explore the river boardwalk, while viewing native animals. A new documentary film "Re-Imagine the Chattahoochee" is shown daily in the theater and educational programs focus on ecology and natural science. Open daily, Monday-Saturday, 10 am to 5 pm and Sunday from noon - 5 pm, general admission $10 for adults, $7 for seniors 65 and older and $7 for students 13-18, $6 for children 3-12, and free Members and for children 2 and under.
