7 Stages
Youth Creates is 7 Stages' five-week training program providing experiential learning and performance opportunities for teenagers. Through playwriting, design, and performance, students collaborate to create an original theater work.

Alliance Theatre
The Alliance has a children’s series and families centerstage.

Atlanta Ballet
The Atlanta Ballet’s family friendly performances include The Nutcracker (Dec.5-28) at The Fox Theatre; and Swan Lake (Oct. 23–Nov. 2) at Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre.

Atlanta Botanical Garden
The recently renovated Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Children’s Garden now has a fast slide and Amphitheater Programs. Special events include the Father’s Day Festival (3rd Sunday June); Goblins in the Garden children’s costume festival (last Sunday October); Earth Day programming; Summer Environmental Camp; Spring Break Environmental Camp; Young Sprouts program for 3-5 year olds; Kinetic Knapsacks for 2008 Sculpture in Motion exhibition; Drop in Kids classes; Kinder in the Garden; and after-school program for City of Atlanta schools.

Atlanta Cyclorama
The Atlanta Cyclorama includes special programs with re-enactors in period dress and Civil War uniforms, authors and exhibits. The bookstore and gift shop offers books, toys and gifts focusing on history and heritage. The center is located in a historic district with Zoo Atlanta, Oakland Cemetery, Braves Museum, Georgia State Capitol Museum, Atlanta Preservation Center tours and historic Grant Park. For students and teachers, packages are available on the Civil War along with a Scavenger Hunt questionnaire and Cyclorama program.

Atlanta History Center
May 25: Atlanta History Center will honor the contributions of the Allied Forces during World War II in History Live! WWII Remembrance Day. Ages 18 and under will be admitted free when accompanied by a paying adult. Free with general admission and to WWII veterans.

June 21-22: Joanna Maddox performs A Bus Ride with Rosa Parks. Held in conjunction with the exhibition, Courage: The Vision to End Segregation, the Guts to Fight For It, this program is suitable for all ages. Ages 18 and under will be admitted free when accompanied by a paying adult.

History Summer Camp 2008: Dive into history at the Atlanta History Center with exciting and enriching activities. Every week has a new theme, so chose your favorites and join us. Each camp is available for students entering grades 1-3 and 4-6.

Atlanta Symphony Orchestra
The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra Family Series presents children’s events throughout the season, including Cinderella (May 18) and An All American Celebration on July 4 at Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre at Encore Park.

Centennial Olympic Park
Come for our Fourth Saturday Family Fun Days and Fountain of Rings Shows.

Centers for Disease Control & Prevention
There are tours of CDC’s Global Health Odyssey Museum and the CDC Disease Detective Camp is available for upcoming high school juniors and seniors.

Center for Puppetry Arts
Through June 22: 2007-08 Family Series presents Cinderella Della Circus.

June 24–July 13: 2008 SUMMERFEST presents performances from other companies that include The Dragon King and Sleeping Beauty.

Chattahoochee Nature Center
We offer animal encounters, guided hikes, canoe tours and tons of special family -oriented events. The Nature Center is an ideal place for little ones to begin hiking. Backpacks with thematic activities are available for rental, so the whole family can participate in a self-guided adventure.

Dad's Garage Theatre
Dad's Garage is super excited to offer Improv Kids Camp this summer. For five days, kids will join award-winning improvisers to focus on basic improv skills such as creative thinking, team work, and storytelling, June 23-27or July 7-11. The camp will culminate in a free performance by the kids for their parents.

Uncle Grampa’s Hoo-Dilly Storytime is returning for storytelling fun and the whole Hoo-Dilly gang will be there: Larry Lederhosen, Phineas J. Monkey, Lil' Tamo, Foolio, and even Fritz the Butler can't wait for the brand new adventures to start. week, the cast will choose a new story to tell and interact with the kids along the way to find the best ending ever!
