Historic Piedmont Park Tours

Learn about the history of Piedmont Park and get a little exercise by joining for a guided walking tour. The tour lasts 60-90 minutes and covers all phases of the park’s development - forest, the Walker farm, fairgrounds for the Piedmont Exposition of 1887, the Cotton States and International Exposition of 1895, the transformation of the fairgrounds into a suburban park, and the current status of Piedmont Park as Atlanta’s premier urban park. The tour uses the voices of the past and pictures to bring history to life.

No tour is scheduled for July 4.
