The NHL Atlanta
Thrashers took to the ice in 1999. With
some of the brightest young stars in the game, interim coach
and executive vice president/ general manager Don Waddell
guides this team into one of the strongest contenders in
the Eastern Conference. The Thrashers play at Philips Arena
in the fall and winter.
The Atlanta Hawks are led by head coach Mike Woodson. Games
are held at Philips Arena and are preceded with festivities
at Hawks Walk including contests, special concerts and interactive
