W.B. Baldwin

W.B. Baldwin joined Atlanta Convention and Visitors Bureau (ACVB) in 1970 and currently serves as senior vice president, corporate development.
As senior vice president, corporate development, Baldwin is in charge of securing corporate sponsorships to generate marketing revenues, future investments and sponsorship opportunities for major events. He educates potential and current corporate partners on the benefits of the hospitality industry.
Baldwin is co-founder of the Turkey Trot Invitational Golf Tournament (TTI) and Gobblers Ball Charity Auction. The TTI is currently ACVB's largest fundraising event and supports the ACVB Arts Foundation and sales and marketing efforts.
Baldwin's past responsibilities have included oversight of the marketing, advertising, public relations, membership and convention services departments. He has been the director of marketing, vice president of operations, vice president of advertising and public relations and senior vice president of marketing.
Throughout his career, Baldwin has coordinated tourism promotions including the regional SummerSpree, the Welcome South Visitors Center project, and strategic partner development with VISA, BellSouth, The Coca-Cola Company, AT&T, Delta Air Lines and General Motors.
