Sandy Springs

Sandy Springs is Georgia's seventh largest city. As the home of three Fortune 500 companies, among them UPS, Sandy Springs, Georgia, is also one of Metro Atlanta's most desirable business addresses. Located near the intersection of the I-285 loop and Georgia 400, Sandy Springs offers convenient access to Perimeter Mall as well as downtown Atlanta, 15 miles away.

The Sandy Springs Historic Site and Museum features the natural springs that gave the city its name. Among the other attractions of Sandy Springs, GA, are the Great Park at Morgan Falls, Big Trees Forest Preserve, the nearby Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area and CityWalk Sandy Springs. CityWalk Sandy Springs includes two stories of boutique shops, brownstone condominiums, a wine bar, pub, restaurants and the World Peace Cafe, the only United States location which is run entirely by Buddhist volunteers.

The community's annual calendar of events includes the Taste of Sandy Springs food festival (May), the Green Tour Bicycle Ride (May), free outdoor Concerts by the Springs (summer) and the Sandy Springs Festival (September).

The city of Sandy Springs, Georgia was incorporated in 2005.
