One of the nation's fastest-growing counties, Gwinnett County is expected to become Georgia's largest county within the next few years. The area's healthy business climate has attracted such companies as Scientific Atlanta, A Cisco Corporation and Ricoh Electronics Corporation. Top Gwinnett County shopping destinations include Discover Mills Outlet, the Forum on Peachtree Parkway and the state's largest mall, the Mall of Georgia, which boasts 225 stores as well as a 20-screen theater with IMAX 3D. Gwinnett County, Georgia, sports highlights include fishing and boating at nearby Lake Lanier; golf courses designed by the likes of Jack Nicklaus, Gary Player and Greg Norman; and The Arena at Gwinnett Center, which hosts Gwinnett Gladiators ice hockey as well as major concerts. Gwinnett County, GA, is also home to a professional theater and the annual Folk Fest, said to be the world's largest folk art festival. Georgia history is on view at the Southeastern Railway Museum, the Plantation Houses of Gwinnett self-guided driving tour and historic Norcross, where the entire downtown is included in the National Register of Historic Places. Gwinnett County is located northeast of Atlanta along I-85 and offers easy access to Stone Mountain Park.
