“A Bad Moms Christmas” hit Atlanta movie theaters on Nov. 1 and women everywhere are flocking to see it. It’s a tale as old as time (surely): Overburdened and under-appreciated moms, Amy, Kiki and Carla, are faced with the challenges of creating the perfect Christmas holiday for their families, all while hosting and entertaining their own mothers. Gather your mom friends for a "Bad Moms" night out in Atlanta. Here are some ideas for things to do before or after the show.

  • Laugh over drinks. If you’re anything like me, a good mom’s night out means lots of commiserating and laughing over a tasty cocktail. For something a little different, check out Atlanta’s craft cocktail scene. The head bar tender at Livingston Restaurant + Bar and Edgar’s Proof & Provision in the historic Georgian Terrace Hotel is known to whip some delicious and unique cocktails. If you’re a fan of tequila, don’t miss his “El Diablito.” If you find yourself downtown, try the "Stillhouse,” a tasty whiskey concoction at White Oak Kitchen & Cocktails.

  • Meeting your gal pals for dinner on the town? Try our picks for the best restaurants in Buckhead or the best restaurants in Midtown. It doesn’t have to be Tuesday to enjoy a good taco or two (or three; I’m not telling). Here’s where to find the best tacos in Atlanta.

  • Get some of your holiday shopping done. You’ll be right where the shopping is at if you catch a showing of “Bad Moms” at Atlantic Station or Phipps Plaza. Or check out one of these must-visit shops this fall. If you're meeting up OTP, try Avalon in Alpharetta. The liberal open container policy allows you to roam the entire property, booze in hand. Cheers!

  • What is a Girls Night Out without a sinful treat? No one will tell if you cheat on your diet with a decadent dessert. Here are 11 places to satisfy your sweet tooth in Atlanta. Want to kill the proverbial two birds with one stone? Hit up Atlanta Candy Bar, downtown. It's part candy shop, part bar. Where else can you create your own cupcake and have it infused with booze? Or, try a cookie shot glass filled with your favorite shot plus all the toppings. Yum!

  • Having a day girl date? Treat yourselves to a little TLC with a mani/pedi. Or get a facial at one of the 8 best spas in Atlanta. There's Bliss Spa at both W Atlanta Downtown and W Atlanta Midtown, The Spa at The Ritz-Carlton Buckhead, The Spa at Mandarin Oriental Atlanta (also in Buckhead) and more.

  • Let the music move you. Feelin’ good after all that laughing? The fun doesn’t have to end after the show. Put on those dancing shoes and head to one of Atlanta’s nightclubs for drinking and dancing.
