Ready for a fun weekend in Atlanta? Here's what's on our schedule.

Carol’s Picks
Carol is the ATL Insider’s culture vulture. If there is a new exhibit in town or a new show on the stage, Carol is the first to know about it.

  • Candlelight Nights, Friday
If you are a fan of Atlanta History Center, you already know how beautiful it is. Now, just imagine those beautiful grounds all lit up with candles. All three historic houses will be open as you step back a few years into the past.

  • A Very Merry Holiday Pops, Friday and Saturday
No need to drink an extra cuppa Joe before heading to this concert. It will have you revved up and wanting to dance in the aisles. This is the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra at its jolly, happy best. (And you may see a big guy in a red suit. And his reindeer.)

Joleen's Picks
Joleen is a work-at-home mom to a 3-year-old son. She and her family live in the 'burbs but enjoy regularly traveling into the city for family-friendly fun and adventure.

  • Breakfast with Santa, Saturday
Enjoy a hearty breakfast on the ranch with Old Saint Nick, as he stops off at Rock Ranch to visit on Saturday morning. Kids will dine on a full ranch breakfast and spend some one-on-one time with the man in the red suit. For an additional cost you can sign up your child for Santa’s Workshop where she can partake in activities like cookie decorating, a keepsake ornament, face painting, story time and more. Pre-registration is strongly encouraged as there are limited tickets available.

  • Miss Bennet: Christmas at Pemberley, through Dec. 24
'Twas the night before Christmas… and Jane Austen fans rejoiced in the “effervescent, comedic sequel to one of the most beloved literary romances of all time” with this production at Theatrical Outfit.

Tommy's Picks
Tommy is a young professional keeping an eye out for the city's liveliest happenings.

  • Deck the Hallthrough New Year's Day
The most wonderful time of the year kicks off at the College Football Hall of Fame and Chick-fil-A Fan Experience with holiday treats and décor provided by The Home Depot. Includes special appearances by Fumbles the Elf!

  • Celebration BowlSaturday
This first-class postseason bowl experience brings the heritage and pageantry of Historically Black Colleges and Universities to Mercedes-Benz Stadium this Saturday as the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference and the Southwestern Athletic Conference come together in Atlanta.
