So what if it's winter? Atlanta doesn't let cool temperatures dampen the city's love of festivals. Here's what's festive in February.

  • Feb. 1-18, Atlanta Jewish Film Festival
Theaters city-wide will screen more than 60 films, including docudramas, romantic comedies, animated shorts and more. As they say, you don’t have to be Jewish to love this film festival.

  • Feb. 5-7, Groundhog Day Jugglers Festival
For the 38th year, more than 200 jugglers from the Atlanta Jugglers Association will celebrate Groundhog Day by showcasing their talents and teaching attendees how to juggle.

  • Feb 5-7, Day of the Dead Horror Festival
This annual festival offers a variety of panel discussions, stars and more. On hand for photo ops will be special guests such as Elvira, wrestling legend Rick Flair and Billy Dee Williams in his Star Wars costume.

  • Feb. 18-21, Belly Dance Festival
This event at the Holiday Inn Atlanta Perimeter/Dunwoody draws hundreds of dancers and musicians from across the world. There will be dancing, workshops and shopping for tribal jewelry, music, props and costumes.

  • Through Feb. 25, Georgia Aquarium Winter Fest
Come for live music, tapas and cash bars on Thursday nights throughout the month.

  • Feb. 26-28, AnachroCon 2016
AnachroCon is the top place in the Southern United States to celebrate historical re-enacting, alternate history, steampunk, sciences, horror, fabrication, and literature and media. More than a science fiction convention, this year’s theme is the Weird Wild West. Find it at Marriott Century Center.
