Nothing beats a great brunch. And no brunch is complete without great mimosas.

As has been said many times, brunch without booze is simply a sad, late breakfast. The good news is there is no shortage of Atlanta restaurants where you can find scrumptious brunch dishes and equally marvelous mimosas. Here are our picks for brunch plus mimosas.

  • The 57th Fighter Group brunch is exceptional with both a meat-carving station and a build-your-own waffles station. Enjoy a mimosa for only one buck.

  • Article 14 – This swanky spot has more than just terrific cocktails. Brunch offerings include eggs Savannah with shrimp and crab cakes topped with Creole hollandaise. If you like it sweet, try the pecan pie French toast. Wash it all down with a $1 mimosa.

  • Bantam and Biddy/Chick-a-Biddy – Mimosas cost $4. Pair them with fried chicken brunch items like the big chicken skillet.

  • Hi-Five Diner – This diner offers "mimosathena"-- orange juice with champagne and Creature Comforts Athena beer. It's a great alternative to the classic.

  • Hobnob Neighborhood Tavern – Enjoy a lovely brunch on the incredible patio. Mimosas are available "bottomless" or in singles.

  • Ladybird – What’s special about this BeltLine eatery? In addition to the redneck mimosa -- a refreshing beer/champagne drink served in a Schlitz beer can -- Ladybird offers wonderful brunch choices. Select chorizo tacos, hot chicken biscuit or the brunch skillet, a hearty offering of pork, veggies and grits.

  • Meehan’s – With five locations around Atlanta, there’s a Meehan’s not too far. I recommend the bacon and Swiss frittata or the California omelet with chicken and avocado. Bottomless mimosas go for $15.

  • Poor Calvin’s – Consider bottomless mimosas for $15 plus shrimp and grits in Thai curry.

  • Red Pepper Taqueria has numerous flavors of bottomless mimosas every Saturday and Sunday for brunch until 3 p.m.

  • The Ritz-Carlton – Got an extra $75? If you are willing to splurge on this over-the-top brunch, you can belly up to the $15 champagne bar where you can build your own bellini or mimosa.

  • Wahoo! Grill – Located in Decatur, Wahoo! Grill is a European-influenced bistro offering a brunch buffet every Saturday and Sunday. The price is $19 for adults, $9 for children (12 and under) with mimosas all day.

  • Yebo – The only thing that tastes better than a mimosa at weekend brunch is when it comes from bottle service straight to your table. Sundays feature Veuve Clicquot bottle service. Don’t miss out on the South African specialties like breakfast hash.
